Yoga Essentials was started as a result of the growing interest in yoga throughout South Africa, our online store was launched on the 1st December 2014.
Our aim is to assist in providing excellent quality yoga equipment, sourced both locally and from overseas, as well as fostering an interest and awareness in the benefits of yoga. If we don't have it in stock, then just let us know and we will find it for you!
For yoga teachers and schools, we offer a unique affiliate program, all of which helps in spreading the word.
After spending some 25 years in the IT industry in various corporates, the long hours and stress of travelling and constant deadlines resulted in a hard look at what our life had become. Although successful, there was a lack of balance and passion. We resigned from our respective jobs and embarked on an exciting adventure of entrepreneurship opening our own aromatherapy, beauty, music and IT consulting businesses.
Then we found yoga, and a new path in our lives and lifestyles opened up ahead!
Starting Yoga Essentials is another exciting step on our journey and an extension of our passion for yoga and meditation.
